Insomnia
A sleepless night
Silence is cheek-fuzz;
Radio-static or TV-sizzles
A graphite scratch
Isolation is lizard-skin;
Basement-mold or Fridge-mildew
A knotted strand
Thinking is fishing-line;
Jumbled shoelaces or Twister tangles
A grey cassette tape
Rewinding is sea-sickness;
Churning milk-tea or Lactose lurch

I just realized how symbolic the structure of this poem is. First silence, then isolation, thinking and rewinding. I was confused at first, but wow... I like this one a lot!
